The concrete slab for the garage and entry were laid on Friday. The slab signals the beginning of framing for the living and kitchen space of the second storey. The garage has fitted in well with the existing ground level after a small adjustment on the plans, adding two extra steps. A staircase inside will be something to get used to, but at least we'll get more exercise!
